Hi, and welcome to the FreeRCT DevBlog. Here you will find updates (hopefully not too sporadically) on the development of FreeRCT, a free and open source game inspired by the classic RollerCoaster Tycoon.

    HI! You just won the internet!
    With a source code, an Android version of RCT could be easily made, right?
    I'd love to play this game on my phone.

    Having the source code will definately open up the possibility of an Android version, though we have a very long way to go to get to that stage!

      We hope to at some point in the future, but currently the focus is on Linux. There is a lot of work to be done to turn it into a game first!

      So far, Apple is very hostile against GPL licensed software. For example you cannot add such software to the app store.
